Toussaint Egan has written about anime, games, movies, and comics for over eight years for publications such as Complex, Playboy, The A.V. Club, Paste, and Polygon — where he has served as a curation editor since 2021, highlighting the best movies, TV, and everything else you can enjoy from home. He is a proud member of the Chicago Film Critics Association and Vox Media Union.
He co-curated a list of the 100 best anime films with Toonami co-creator Jason DeMarco, contributed to Vulture’s list of the 100 most influential sequences in animation history, and served as a judge for the 2023 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
